Vagina Matters is an illustrated sexual education book for girls. The female body, menstruation, masturbation, sex and sexual health are still taboo topics in many countries. There is a correlation between the lack of sexual education classes and the high rates of unwanted pregnancies.

Vagina Matters is a comprehensive guide on a wide range of sexual health issues and aims to encourage curiosity among girls towards understanding their own bodies and speaking up about issues related to sexuality and supports them in their sexual and mental wellbeing.

Behind the illustrations are Borislava Willnevermadeit and Stalker since 1993.

The book and platform will be released in mid-2019. Project partners are the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee, the leading human rights organization in Bulgaria, and Loveguide.bg, an online platform for sexual education. It is funded in part by the Bulgarian Fund for Women.
