A refugee Narwhal? Enchanted forests? Polluted seas?

It’s all in Fine Acts’ latest foray into children’s lit with Party for the Narwhal, a 2.5-meter-long comic book with illustrations by Aglika Spassova, artist and art director, and story by Fine Acts co-founder Pavel Kounchev.

The book tells the story of a Narwhal seeking asylum from the pollution that has destroyed his home in the Arctic waters. The story follows this Narwhal’s unexpected journey to belonging.
