Fine Acts teamed up with 20 amazing artists from around the world to produce a collection of powerful visual artworks on the topic of climate justice - rooted in hope, resilience, and inclusivity as we accelerate climate action & solutions together.
For this collection, we hosted a global online edition of our SPRINTS format. SPRINTS are creative bootcamps where we brief visual artists on a specific issue, and support them over 48 hrs to produce a work on the topic.
All works are now published under an open license on TheGreats.co, our unique platform for free social impact art, so that anyone – including educators, activists and nonprofits globally – can use them in their work.

Climate change is the greatest challenge of our time, with rising temperatures and ecosystem degradation threatening life on Earth. However, the climate crisis is a deeply unfair one, with certain countries and communities bearing its effects disproportionately.
Low-income communities, people of color, indigenous people, people with disabilities, older or very young people, women – all can be more susceptible to risks posed by climate impacts.
At the same time, people defending environmental, climate, land, and Indigenous rights are some of the most at-risk groups in the activist space. Today, around the world they are massively oppressed, detained, imprisoned, attacked, and killed for standing up to polluters and profiteers. Overall, 200 defenders were murdered in 2021 alone.
The goal of this SPRINTS is to focus on creating a collection of illustrations that show how we can move toward a better climate future together, acknowledging the burden on certain communities and highlighting the solutions and actions that can get us there. The artists specifically focused on climate justice & climate action; climate & poverty; climate & women; and environmental defenders.
