10 CITIES, 10 PUBLIC ARTWORKS, 1 TOPIC: CLIMATE CHANGE

Fine Acts x TED Countdown

Countdown, in collaboration with Fine Acts, launches a global art action on climate change.

Countdown is TED’s global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. Together, we worked with a group of TED Fellows artists to create 10 public art pieces in 10 cities around the world, to kick-off on 10.10.2020 at 11am ET.

The goal – to raise awareness for Countdown, while translating key climate issues in ways that spur imaginations and trigger participation. The selected works convey that we can change climate change, show that ‘it’s urgent, but doable’, and have the potential to make people step up and participate in building a better future.

We are beyond proud to be curating and coordinating this global art action. Stay tuned for the big reveal this Saturday, as part of the global launch of Countdown!
