Adital Ela is a product designer, incorporating indigenous knowledge into sustainable design. She dedicates her professional life to exploring ways in which sustainability designers can envision, illustrate and enable the realization of new and inviting life habits that can thoroughly reform the encounter between man, object, and environment.

Founder of TERRA bio design company and of S-SENSE-DESIGN, an active sustainability design studio, which promotes various projects with companies, non-profit organizations and social groups. She is a sustainability design lecturer at the social-environmental design study program at the Faculty of Design at HIT, Israel. Adital lectures regularly at conferences and leads workshops around the world, touching upon various aspects of design for sustainability. She is a TED Fellow.
