20 artists help us overcome negative stereotypes!
SPRINTS is an original format developed by us at Fine Acts. Visual artists – graphic designers, typographers, illustrators – are invited to a creative bootcamp to work on a specific topic. Participants are briefed by experts and then have just a few days to produce a visual artwork. Each SPRINTS ends with a pop-up exhibition, open to the public.
But there’s more! All works are also featured on The Greats, our unique platform for free social impact art, under a Creative Commons Licence, so that non-profit organizations and activists from all over the world can use them for their campaigns and communications.
This edition of SPRINTS engaged 20 artists to work on the topic of overcoming negative stereotypes towards vulnerable groups in Bulgaria. We named the resulting collection of illustrations TRADITIONAL VALUES.
Something “being contrary to traditional values" is often an argument to limit people and rights, and to instill division and hatred. With this creative action, we recall the true traditional values of a society – love, acceptance, and support.
